JSSPPH CAMPUS

The PPH Buildings have been designed by an Architect as per WHO guidelines to provide complete accessibility for the Disabled to all the Departments including Hostels. The design of the buildings was also cleared by a Canadian Architect who is specialized in designing buildings for Disabled. The total built-up area is about 11,800 Sqm and the cost is Rs.90 million.

All the laboratories required to run the courses are equipped with equipment worth Rs. 8 million.

COMPUTER CENTER
 

A Computer Centre with modern computer facility worth Rs. 1 million is already setup. The Computer Center will have accessibility to all the Departments of the Polytechnic through networking.

RESOURCE ENGINEERING CENTRE
 


TRANING FOR STUDENTS
 

A Resource Engineering Centre is also setup with the financial assistance from AICTE. The objectives of this centre is to develop teaching modules like Video Packages, Visual Presentaion System, Computer Aided Instructional Packages, Sign Language Modules, Illustration Charts and Diagrams etc, It is already equipped with Video equipment at a cost of Rs.1.65 million.

A good library is provided in the Polytechnic. Already about 5600 vloumes of books on all the subjects have been procured at a cost of Rs.0.83 million. Sufficient technical and general journals are subscribed by the library for the benefit of the students and staff. Internet facility is also available.
